Why couldn’t we live without facebook?

Since the beginning of the twenty-first century, social networks have become inescapable in terms of interaction with the whole world. Indeed, in a click you can discuss, share pictures, keep in touch with your relatives even if they are at the other end of the world and also find a job as professional network develops. Among the social networks, you cannot pass by Facebook, which has more than a billion users from part the world in 2013, which puts it in the first place of the most used social networks. But what makes Facebook essential? Why can’t we live without Facebook?

Facebook is a concept which allows us to discuss anywhere with all your friends. Thanks to that system, you can find persons from your childhood, highschool, trips, and jobs. It is always a pleasure to find an old friend or a person from your family that you have never met for example. You just have to enter a name and you can find the person wanted. For example, if a friend is at the other end of the world, you can discuss with him free of charge. So you know exactly what he is doing while thousands km are separating you, thanks to photos posted, you do not need to call. For people who are closer, for example friends from the same school or a person that you want to see again, you can create a group of discussion and keep contact with them. If you have a project to do you can share your new ideas at all time. It is easier than before because you do not have to meet your friends in order to speak of the project, it is immediate. Therefore, a social network like Facebook, it is the best way to speak to your friends and know what is happening thanks to the statues and photos posted. It is a real evolution for the entire world.

Today, an increasing number of people, celebrities, or revues communicate through Facebook. They all have realised that Facebook is one of the biggest social network and therefore have to adapt to it in order to take advantage of it. We can therefore get informed of our daily basis friend activities, even if they are travelling abroad. We can be informed of their activities through their statues, pictures, videos or even geographical location. More over, we can follow our favourite celebrities with this. Singers, actors and athletics use Facebook to keep fans informed of what they do. Finally, even the newspapers use Facebook to spread their articles. They know that with this social network they can reach thousands of people, which is in fact right!

Finally, unlike many other social networks, Facebook is a polyvalent network. As we can see, it allows us to add photos, videos, status, contacts, events, groups and much more. We can decide what we want to post and what we want people to see and know. We can therefore employ this network for different purposes. For instance, a teenager can use it for photos and status but an adult would probably use it for contact and long distance relationship but not so much for the fun part of it. Facebook is a complete and full network, which can be used in many ways depending on the need of its users and their interest. The interest will divers depending on the age, the job situation etc. The Facebook social network can be personalised depending of what we’re going to use it for. Diversity is one of its main assets, which would explain why we couldn’t live without it. It is our new “organiser” except that we share it with friends or relations.

With Facebook we can keep in touch with our relatives if they are in another country, stay informed of what is going on with our friends and also of celebrities or even know about is happening in the world. Today practically everyone has a Facebook account or a page even the newspapers. Facebook is a polyvalent social network where we can share many things: photos and status but you can only send messages. In conclusion we can easily say that today Facebook is essential to our every day life. If you ask anyone if they could live without Facebook the answer will probably be that living without Facebook has today become unbearable.
